Bug Eyed Soul consists of two producers / musicians / vocalists; one based in Santa Cruz, ca and the other is located in Los Angeles, ca. Both have numerous years of recording and touring experience with other groups… Having formed just over two years ago as a genre bending side project to explore other musical ideas which involve a heavy electronic, hip hop and folktronica sound… Once in the studio they experimented with using live drums, bass and guitar combined with electronics. After recording just two songs together the outside response was instantaneous, they each decided to make Bug Eyed Soul their full time project… Their live performances consist of both members on vocals, while trading off with live instruments and live electronic sound manipulation. With such a wide range of genres they are able to play along side rock bands, Hip Hop groups and full on electronic acts… Having just completed their debut mini L.P., Catch The Bug...So check back soon to see when and with whom it'll hit the streets...
